The Royal Palace of Athens is the offical Residence of the Imperial Monarch of Athens when they are within the boundaries of the Kingdom of Athens. When in the Kingdom of Athens, their imperial majesties are known as the King and Queen of Athens respectively. The Palace is the Largest Palace in the United Kingdom of Russia, Athens, Puerto Rico, and Snelly. The Palace also serves as the official residence of the Monarchy of the United Kingdom of Russia, Athens, Puerto Rico, and Snelly and as such many of the Crown's offices are situated in permanent residency at the Palace.

Although the city of St. Bishop is much older the the city of Athens, The Shinto people would not found a Kingdom until 1,000 years after the organisation of one in Athens. The exact date of construction of the original palace is unknown just as the Great Temples of St. Bishop and Athens are unknown. However the Palace has overtime gown, been burned down, tore down, rebuilt, to be burned or torn down again and again. The modern facade that is now famous for being the palace was Constructed in 3024 B.U.K. prior to that, the palace had been roughly in the same site since its construction. The Palace is essentially one massive expansion to the Great Temple of the Mother Goddess Pallas Athena through a series of halls, rooms, and offices. As per constitution the Monarch of the United Kingdom rules by the divine right of being a direct descendant of the Mother Goddess herself and as such is highly revered as being the embodiment of a living God. All Monarchs past of the Kingdom of Athens have all been buried in the Royal Palace in the portions closest to the actual Temple.

Construction[]

The Palace was built in 3024 B.U.K. by the great Empress Thomia II. It was built over the original Palace of Athens which can still be seen within the foreground and today sits as an Imperial Museum owned by the Crown and given to the People through the Imperial Park Service for tours and insight to life in the Imperial Capital. It was built with Water Rock and features countless miles of Granite across the entire façade. It is one of the most richly decorated palaces in the Imperial Household and has been a favorite of the Royal Families who have used the home.

Fire[]

When the Gainese invaded the city of Athens and much of the city was torched by the Athenians as a last ditch effort to protect their empire, the western portion of the palace was burned down. It was then repaired by the Russians and Athenians after the Gainese-Ateno War in restoration of the city. With a much larger façade and has an impressive promenade.

Imperial Family[]

As the official residence of the Imperial Family of the United Kingdom of Russia, Athens, Puerto Rico, and Snelly, the palace serves as the home of the Imperial Family, the direct children of the monarch, their spouse, and siblings and other family members of the Reigning Monarch. There are countless Palaces and Castles scattered through out the United Kingdom, but the most famous, largest and luxurious is that of Athens. Over the eons families have entered, fought, quarrelled, and have been expelled from entry into the palace.

Entry to the Palace[]

As the official Residence of the Monarchy of the United Kingdom of Russia, Athens, Puerto Rico, and Snelly, the Palace is in essence a working palace and most of the palace is closed off to visitors. The old Palace of Athens whilst owned by the crown, is in use as a Public Museum to view the life of the monarchy through scheduled tours which are opened to the public on weekdays unless that day fall on an Imperial or Religious Holiday in which the Palace Grounds are closed to the Public. Entry into the actual working Palace is an exclusive honour only bestowed upon visiting official guest to the Monarch, or are invited citizens to enter the Palace. Twice annually the Monarch opens up the Palace to the Public for a two days of celebration of the Monarchy. Normally the birthday of the Monarch and the anniversary of their reign.

Pallazzo di Atena[]

The Pallazo di Atena is the largest segment of the Habitable portion of the Royal Palace. The rooms are off limits to the majority of visitors to the palace. The amount of rooms in this portion of the palace are unknown to the public and are considered a state secret.
